She wrote her first song at 12 years old and hasn't stopped the flow of creativity! Mercedes, a Wet'suwet'en, Tsimshian artist who writes lyrics that seem much more mature than her age represents. The acoustic guitar is her main instrument to perform live and to woodshed her songs. Mercedes influences include Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana, Cage The Elephant and 90's grunge bands. Watch out for this powerhouse songstress as she tip toes into more stories and songs and evolves her sound.
