LEE FURNELL

A life long acoustic guitarist and avid traveller, Lee hails from the south coast of England. Eager to explore, he packed up his guitar and took his passion for music to the mountains of Alberta and the jungles of Costa Rica.

Full of inspiration, Lee started writing songs and carving out his own sound. The oceans current pulled him to the wild west coast of Vancouver island where he strums, sings, surfs and calls home.

Lee’s sound has been described as soothing, uplifting and introspective.

Influences include Ben Howard and Tom Misch.

Lee was  selected to participate in an artist’s development program called Making Waves at Ukee Sound, with the support of Creative BC, The Frog Radio, and Tuff City Radio. Lee's tracks Rain and Different Streets are in rotation on Tuff City Radio.
